Solid quality, good service

I bought the Pack Débutant Photographie Culinaire last month. Ordering was straightforward, the website was easy to navigate. It shipped within a couple of days and got to my place in California in about a week, which was fair. The Fond Photo Effet Bois and Fond Photo Effet Béton from the pack are both excellent, very durable and truly washable. I had a small question about cleaning the vinyl and customer support responded quickly and was helpful. The Lightroom presets were a nice bonus, though I mostly bought for the backdrops. Overall, a good experience and the products are holding up well.

Amazing quality and looks great!

I ordered a Fond Photo Couleur Unie in a beautiful pastel blue, and it's perfect! The color is exactly what I needed for my product photography. It really is anti-reflet, which helps a lot with lighting. I'm so impressed with how high-quality the vinyl feels, and knowing it's eco-friendly is a big plus. It came rolled up, no creases at all. Will definitely be getting more colors soon!

Most of the time, those welcome codes don't stack with other deals. I tried using one on a discounted pack during their Black Friday sale and it wouldn't go through. Worth a shot though, sometimes things slip.

can you really return these if the color isn't what you expected? sometimes product photos are off.

Yeah, returns are fine. I sent one back once because the texture didn't quite work for my setup. Just make sure it's unused and you cover the return shipping.

I think they have a pretty standard return policy. Just check their site for the exact window, but as long as it's not damaged or anything, you should be good.

Thinking of getting a few backdrops for my food photography. are these better than the ones from Club Backdrops? price vs quality wise?

I've used both. Pastryandtravel's feel a bit sturdier and the prints are more realistic imo. Club Backdrops are okay but can look a little more 'printed'.

It really depends on what you're shooting. I found Pastryandtravel's colors to be truer to what I see on screen. And the washable aspect is a huge plus for me over Club's paper ones.

yeah, they're surprisingly good! I've had coffee and even some cake batter on mine and it wiped right off with a damp cloth. no staining or anything.

Mine too. Just make sure to get to it quickly. My 'concrete' one is still looking fresh after a bunch of messy food shoots.

Hmm, I'm on the East Coast but mine took about a week and a half, maybe two with customs. They ship from France so it's not super fast.

Nah, they're pretty good about that. I use strobes and continuous lights and haven't had any issues with glare. They're designed to be matte.

I was worried about this too but mine have been totally fine, even with direct flash. No hotspots or weird reflections so far.
